3rd Rally scheduled for Feb 26 2006
The 3rd public demonstration is scheduled for Sunday Feb 26, 2006, at the Royal Courtyard next to the Grand Palace in Bangkok. Its motto is "No Victory, No Disassembly."
Many more people are expected because of the mounting disapproval of the Potty Mouth.
More and more well-respected statesmen, academics, politicians, businesspeople, students, and ordinary folks have been voicing their resentment.
The voice resonated among well-educated urbanites is now spreading around the country.
However, grassroot citizens and the less educated who live upcountry are still in the dark, for the government-controlled media heavily counter-attack the anti-government movement. Free TV channels and state radio stations continuously broadcast pro-government propaganda in defiance of the power of the people.
We shall see who will win...
I am definitely going, in my new pair of sneakers. This time with a friend from Junior High. We will be well-prepared for an extended stay.
